22 ROOMS WITH OWN BATHROOM
Enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet in the morning, after which you can venture out fully energized. In the bar and outside on our terrace you can recuperate from an active day.
We are happy to indulge you with delicious drinks and various snacks from our small menu. In the evening, join us for a delicious and international 3-course dinner with an Italian accent. Hotel Lory has 22 double two to five person rooms, each with private bathroom. There is an elevator, underground garage and a separate lockable ski and bicycle storage. You can use WiFi throughout the entire hotel. Also, the hotel is accessible for disabled people. There is also an option to rent an apartment directly opposite the hotel.
Here you can cook for yourself, but you can also choose to enjoy your meals at the hotel. Our family hotel is the best option for your active holiday in the Dolomites. Whether you are traveling alone, with your family, group of friends or corporal or incentive trip.
Personalised service
From our own experience we know that it is pleasant to be able to communicate in your own language while on holiday. The owners Maurice and Karen and some of the staff speak fluent English, German and Dutch. Therefore, there is practically always someone available to speak to you in your own language. Apart from this being very pleasant for you, it also creates an informal atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home.
We know the region and we are therefore more than happy to tell you more about it. For instance, about all the fun activities in and around Molveno, but also about great day trips and restaurants tips.
Breakfast
An active day outdoors starts with a good and wholesome breakfast. Our extensive buffet includes; brown bread, white kaiser rolls, cheese and cold cuts, boiled eggs, peanut butter, jam and chocolate spread, fruit, yogurt, muesli and corn flakes, cakes, croissants and / or sweet breads.
A nice cup of coffee, tea or juice will also be included ofcourse!
Beverages
You can drink a cappuccino, juice or beer on our terrace or in the bar. In the summer you can enjoy a cool Jupiler beer or a Franciskaner Weissen draft beer. Not to be missed is the Spritz Aperol, as well as our famous warm, white wine with apple & cinnamon, which we serve during the winter season.
We serve snacks and sandwiches from our small snack menu all year round.
Dinner
A tasty three-course meal is served in our spacious dining room around 7:30 PM each evening. If desired, the mountain sports fanatics can also enjoy a pasta buffet after an active day.
The daily menu is announced on the menu board every morning. Allergies or special wishes are always taken into account.
Other facilities
Mountainbikers and cyclists can clean and store their gear in our lockable storage room. Tools, cleaning equipment and a compressor are available. In the winter it changes into a ski storage room where wintersport enthusiasts can store their equipment. The hotel has an underground parking garage for motorbikes and cars. There is room for approximately 15 cars with a height up to 1.90 meters.
Hotel guests who book directly with us (not through a tour operator or online booking platform) can park their car or motorcycle free of charge! Groups traveling in a large bus or coach can use a big parking area in the village or at the lifts in Andalo, a few minutes drive from Molveno.
At hotel Lory we like to think in terms of possibilities. If you have any special requests before arriving or during your stay we will help you in every possible way. We are equipped to receive sportive tourists and groups and have experience in their needs and desires
Dogs
Dogs are welcome at Hotel Lory, provided they are not, under any circumstances, a burden to our other guests.
Your four-legged friend is welcome in the bar area, on our terrace and in your own room. We do not allow dogs in the restaurant. If you would like to have your dog to accompany you during your meals, we are most willing to set a table for you in the bar area.
As dog owner you know best how your dog reacts in an unfamiliar environment and towards other people and dogs. If your dog does not tolerate other dogs in his or her surroundings, take in consideration that there is a possibility that there are guests with dogs present in the hotel.
In the unlikely event that your dog causes disruption, we reserve the right to refuse the dog access to the hotel.
Activities from Hotel Lory

When visiting Molveno in the summer, you can go swimming, hiking, motorcycling, road cycling, mountain biking or downhill cycling. You can also take a dive in the lake, play tennis, minigolf and have a stroll in the picturesque village of Molveno. If you are searching for adventure, you can try Via Ferrata or paragliding.
A trip in “La Panoramica“, or the cable car of Molveno, has a breathtaking view of Molveno. The cable car is only 100 meters from Hotel Lory and takes you to an altitude of 1,350 meters. Once at the top you are on the Pradel plateau, from where you have a fantastic view over Molveno and the lake. It is also a starting point for many hiking trails, but there is also a nature and climbing park for children called Sciury’s World. This is a guarantee for a full day of fun!
A day trip to Lake Garda or the pleasant towns of Trento, Bolzano or Merano is also possible.
WINTER ACTIVITIES
Winter activities that you can undertake in Molveno are among other things (tour) skiing, snowboarding and cross- country skiing. The snow-secure ski resort Andalo-Paganella is only a 5 minute drive from our hotel. This area has wide and challenging slopes and is generally sunny, due to its location on the large rocky plateau. The ski pass is free of charge for children under the age of 8. In general, a ski holiday is still surprisingly affordable here! If you would like to learn to ski or improve your technique, you can enquire at the skischool in Andalo.
In addition to the many traditional winter sports options, you can also take beautiful (snow) walks in Molveno or enjoy a trip in a real horse-drawn sleigh.
Nearby are several castles and the authentic town of Trento with its beautiful, historic city center. These are ideal trips if you want to take it easy for a day and if you are not such a winter sports enthusiast.
